Chic Blush Wedding at Grand Gimeno
A hug from behind turned Mychal around to see his beautiful bride, Kimberly, standing before him in a lace detail wedding dress. Smiles filled both their faces and sweet compliments were exchanged. From the Grand Gimeno Courtyard to the Olive Grove, the bride and groom posed for photos and read handwritten vows, then were joined by their party. Dressed in taupe and black, the wedding crew smiled for the camera creating fun memories before lining up for the ceremony.
Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Blush and white flowers lined the aisle and were arranged on a wooden ceremony backdrop. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their friends and family, Kimberly and Mychal recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts were tray passed while Pepperoni and BBQ Chicken Pizzas were cut and served fresh from the wood-fired pizza oven. To wash it all down, the bar was pouring beer, wine, and the newlywed’s signature cocktails, a Melon Margarita and Old Fashioned. Selfies were taken as guests mixed and mingled, and as the sun began to set, everyone headed inside.
Tables were topped with blush-colored floral centerpieces and candles, and the sweetheart table was framed in by a wooden arbor draped in soft fabric and decorated with more flowers. The newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat. Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Roasted Atlantic Salmon Fillet, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Tangerine and Pecan Salad was served while family and friends shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, the couple cut into their white wedding cake with strawberry creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in our Taste of Asia Dessert Station with a collection of Yuzu Mango Tarts, Ube Crinkle Cookies, Pandan Cupcakes, Café Sua Da Macarons, and Golden Milk Flan with Chai Whipped Cream. The evening ended with lots of dancing out on the dance floor, many photos taken in the photo booth, a late-night snack of Fried Chicken and Waffle Bites, and well wishes shared with the newlyweds.
