Grand Gimeno offers a garden wedding setting rooted in Mediterranean tradition — olive trees, natural shade, and landscaping that feels cultivated but never fussy. It's not a manicured estate garden. It's something older and more organic.
The heart of the outdoor space is a grove of century-old olive trees imported from Europe. The trees create a natural canopy — dappled light during golden hour, string lights after dark. Ceremonies happen beneath the branches, framed by gnarled trunks and silver-green leaves. The ground is level. The shade is real.
Beyond the grove, the grounds lean Mediterranean. Terra cotta pots, drought-tolerant plantings, and stone pathways connect outdoor spaces. The courtyard offers cocktail seating between garden beds. The aesthetic is Southern European — Provence, Tuscany, Andalusia — not English garden.
Unlike venues where the garden is separate from the party, Grand Gimeno connects outdoor ceremony and cocktail spaces directly to the indoor reception hall. Guests move naturally. There's no shuttle, no long walk, no break in momentum.
Grand Gimeno was designed and built by Jay's Catering — a third-generation Orange County family business with over 50 years of experience. The venue and culinary experience are one — from the wood-fired oven to the live-fire station to the bar.
