Grand Gimeno is a 30,000 square foot Spanish Colonial estate in the heart of Old Towne Orange just steps from the historic Plaza, antique shops, and tree-lined streets. The venue offers a setting unlike anywhere else in Orange County with Mediterranean architecture, century-old olive trees, and the charm of a neighborhood that feels worlds away from the ordinary.
Grand Gimeno welcomes guests through a calming front courtyard framed by stucco arches and French windows where a bubbling fountain and lush landscaping set the tone for what lies ahead. Passing through the breezeway, doors open into an inviting Foyer crowned by ornate wrought iron chandeliers. On either side of the space, two intimate rooms offer flexible spaces for an indoor cocktail hour or lounge moments. Tucked seamlessly into the Foyer design are two fully furnished, private VIP suites continuing the venue’s Spanish Colonial Revival aesthetic. With custom key-code access, these suites allow you to settle in early, prepare on-site, and experience the entire day without ever leaving the property. Beyond the Foyer, the venue opens into the Grand Central reception hall, a breathtaking main event space with soaring 30-foot ceilings and expansive windows that flood the room with natural light. Designed to host receptions for up to 300 guests, the space feels both grand and warmly intimate.
Outside, Grand Gimeno’s expansive Olive Grove delivers an unforgettable guest experience and sets the venue apart from all others. At its heart is a custom wood-fired pizza oven and live-fire cooking station, purpose-built for bold, interactive dining. Here, chefs execute a traditional Argentine asado over open flame - slow-roasted meats, wood-fired flavors, and the unmistakable energy of live cooking that becomes part of the celebration itself.
