Speakeasy Soulmates at Grand Gimeno

Karel and Carlo got ready inside Grand Gimeno surrounded by their closest loved ones, then met in the Olive Grove for their first look. A tap on the shoulder signaled Carlo to turn around and happy tears immediately filled his eyes. The couple embraced the intimate moment and shared sweet compliments, then met back up with their wedding party for group photos. The bridesmaids were dressed in blue, and the groomsmen wore black. Smiles filled everyone’s faces while the photographer snapped away, and as soon as guests began arriving, the group lined up for ceremony.

Vibrant peach and yellow florals were arranged with pops of blue marking the ceremony space and matching arrangements decorated little vignettes around the Olive Grove. Guests signed Karel and Carlo’s guest book, then took a seat. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their family and friends, the bride and groom read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed while Wood-Fired Neapolitan Pizza and Alfredo Bianca Pizza were sliced fresh from the oven. Refreshing Green Tea Cocktails and Palomas, the bride and groom’s signature drinks, were popular picks at the bar. A photo booth install made for a fun, interactive cocktail hour activity while everyone mixed and mingled, and when it was time for dinner, guests checked the speakeasy seating chart and headed inside.

Colorful flowers sprouted out of bud vases running the length of tables and acting as centerpieces. The newlyweds made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat. Zucchini Lime Chicken, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Vegetarian Rotolo Bolzano, Mashed Potatoes, Grilled Marinated Vegetables and Pear and Walnut Salad were served. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Brittany. While everyone enjoyed dinner, family and friends stood for toasts. Glasses clinked in the air when the last speech concluded, then Karel and Carlo cut into their white wedding cake with cappuccino creme filling and invited their guests to enjoy a slice for dessert. The remainder of the evening was spent out on the dance floor celebrating the happy couple.
