Romantic Mauve Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Victoria and her bridesmaids got ready for the big day inside Grand Gimeno’s Powder Room while Alex and his groomsmen suited up in the Parlor. When all the girls were ready, they stepped out into the Foyer together for group photos. Victoria wore a silky, off-the-shoulder wedding dress and her bridesmaids wore different styles of minty sage green dresses. Holding bouquets of terracotta, white, and green flowers, the friends smiled for the camera inside, then headed outside to the Olive Grove for more pictures while Alex and his groomsmen took over the Foyer for their pictures. After the fun group moments were captured, the wedding party lined up back inside for the ceremony.
Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed Alex and Victoria’s guest book, grabbed a parasol, then took a seat under the shade of nearby trees. Plumes of mauve florals mixed with greenery were arranged along the aisle and matching flowers decorated the bubbling fountain backdrop. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances ending with Victoria. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, Victoria and Alex read handwritten vows, planted a unity tree, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
The smell of Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Sweet and Salty Pancetta Pizzas filled the air and guests lined up to get their fresh slice. Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes were tray passed around the Olive Grove while the bar served up Aperol Spritz and Mai Tai signature drinks. Everyone mixed and mingled until the sun began to set into golden hour, then headed inside for the reception.
Tables were topped with overflowing floral arrangements in purple, mauve, and green that intermingled with pears and grapes. Sage green candlesticks and menus completed the tabletop décor. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their grand entrances ending with the bride and groom. Alex and Victoria shared their first dance, popped some bubbly, and filled their champagne tower before taking a seat at their sweetheart table. Summer Spinach and Berry Salad was served while family and friends began sharing toasts. The refreshing salad was followed by Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Roasted Atlantic Salmon Fillet with Gourmet Mashed Potatoes and Grilled Asparagus. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After everyone cleaned their plates, the newlyweds cut into our Vintage Two-Tier Almond Cake with Citrus Honey Creme Filling and invited their guests to indulge in a sweet treat for dessert. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with the bride and groom.
