Neutral Nuptials at Grand Gimeno

Surrounded by her closest friends, Wendy got hair and makeup ready inside the Powder Room at Grand Gimeno. From matching pajamas to formal attire, the group changed into shades of blue and the bride in white. Once Wendy fastened her veil, she stepped out to reveal her full wedding look. Her friends gasped then showered her with compliments. Meanwhile, the groom took his mark in the Foyer and awaited Wendy for their first look. Without further ado, Wendy tapped Billy’s shoulder and he turned around to see his beautiful bride. Smiles filled both of their faces and happy tears were shed as the bridesmaids and groomsmen watched, then joined them shortly after. Together, the wedding party wandered around the venue posing for pictures until it was time to line up for the ceremony.

Guests arrived through the Foyer where they signed the bride and groom’s guest book, and into the Olive Grove where they took a seat. A wooden backdrop with floral details marked the head of the aisle and small arrangements lined the sides. Once everyone was settled, Billy began the processional followed by the wedding party and ending with Wendy. In front of all their closest friends and family, Wendy and Billy read personalized vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Beef Picadillo Empanadas and Mini Al Pastor Tacos were tray passed while Whiskey Sour and Mojito signature drinks were shaken and stirred at the bar. Guests mixed and mingled as the newlyweds made their rounds to thank everyone. Selfies and group photos were taken, and memories were shared, then it was time to head inside for dinner.

Inside, tables were draped in our Cambria linen and topped with fresh floral arrangements. Taupe table numbers laser cut name tags led guests to their assigned seats where custom printed menus awaited. Once everyone was seated, Wendy and Billy made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Tequila Lime Chicken, Tri-Tip Carvery, Cheese Enchiladas, Elote Creamed Corn, and Mexican Caesar Salad was served just as toasts started. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Lauren. Friends and family stood to share well wishes and congratulations, and glasses clinked in the air after each speech ended. After dinner, the bride and groom cut into their 2-tiered white cake with raspberry creme filling and invited their guests to indulge in a slice. The evening ended with guests showing off their dance moves and posing in front of the photo booth to take home captured memories.
