Modern Wedding with Floral Clouds

Eric and his groomsmen arrived at Grand Gimeno just as the girls were changing into their dresses inside the Powder Room. With hair and makeup complete and accessories fastened, Michelle stepped out into the Foyer for her first look with Eric. A huge smile filled Eric’s face when he saw his bride, and he made sure to get a full 360 look at her. Loving compliments were exchanged, then the couple was joined by their wedding party for group photos. The bridesmaids in dove grey and groomsmen in all black gathered around Eric and Michelle and posed for the photographer as she clicked away capturing sweet moments. Afterwards, everyone lined up for ceremony.

Guests arrived in the Olive Grove, signed the bride and groom’s guest book, then took a seat. Floral pillars that looked like clouds stood tall as the ceremony backdrop and dried flowers and tumbleweed decorated the floor. Once everyone was in attendance, the wedding party made their entrances ending the processional with Michelle. In front of all their closest friends and family, Michelle and Eric read vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. Everyone cheered as the newlyweds paraded down the aisle into cocktail hour.

As the sun set, guests enjoyed Crab Cakes, Fig, Goat Cheese, and Mascarpone Tarts, and a Taco Station with Carnitas and Al Pastor Tacos in the Olive Grove while the bride and groom were off taking newlywed photos. Guests mixed and mingled while sipping on refreshments from the bar including Michelle and Eric’s signature cocktails, a Blueberry Mojito and Melon Margarita, then headed inside for reception.

Tables were topped with beautiful stoneware, black flatware to contrast our Cambria linens, flickering candles, and arrangements of neutral flowers. Michelle and Eric made their grand entrance and shared their first dance once everyone was seated. The couple then thanked everyone for coming and invited guests to fill their plates for dinner. The menu of Santorini Chicken, Tortellini with Creamy Pesto, Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes, Fresh Vegetable Medley, and Pear and Walnut Salad was selected by the bride and groom with help from our Event Specialist, Lauren. Once everyone made it through the buffet, toasts began. Friends and family raised a glass to the newlyweds and shared their fondest memories and after the last clink, Michelle and Eric took the hotseat for a fun game that had the room full of laughter. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and giving their well wishes to the bride and groom.
