Modern Black and Blush Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Stephanie and Jordan got ready inside the Bridal Suite and Parlor at Grand Gimeno, then met in the Olive Grove for their first look. A hug from behind turned Jordan around to see his beautiful bride standing before him in a strapless white wedding dress. Happy tears filled both their eyes and sweet compliments were exchanged. After the intimate moment, the bride and groom were joined by their bridesmaids and groomsmen dressed in black for group photos. Together and in pairs they smiled for the camera creating lasting memories, and afterwards, the group lined up for the ceremony.
Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed Stephanie and Jordan’s guest book, then took a seat. Pink and white flowers decorated the ceremony space from the back to the front of the aisle. Once everyone was seated, the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their friends and family, the bride and groom read their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Delicious smells filled the air for cocktail hour with fresh Mediterranean Vegetable and Neapolitan pizzas cooking in the pizza oven and a Bao Station serving up Braised Pork Belly Bao and Thai Chicken Bao. Servers made their way around the Olive Grove holding trays filled with Crab Cakes, Lemon Parmesan Artichoke Hearts, Grilled Baby Lamb Chops, and Mini Ahi Tacos and the bar served up Ranch Water and Low Down Greyhound signature drinks. Everyone mixed and mingled while the newlyweds snuck away for photos together as husband and wife, and upon their return, it was time for the reception.
Inside, tables were topped with black, taupe, and blush details. A live bad took the stage and Stephanie and Jordan made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Cabernet Braised Short Ribs and Roasted Atlantic Salmon Filet with Pear and Walnut Salad, Haricot Verts, and Red Roasted Garlic Potatoes was served while family and friends shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Italian Dessert Station with a collection of Fresh Fruit Tarts, Chocolate Dipped Cannoli, Florentine Cookies, Meyer Lemon Cheesecake Bars, and Mini Italiano Tiramisu Cupcakes. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves as the live band played into the night.
