Just Peachy Wedding

Champagne was flowing in the Powder Room and Parlor at Grand Gimeno while Katie, Dalton, and their wedding party were getting ready for the big day. The guys suited up, knotted their ties, and laced up their shoes, then posed for group photos and relaxed until it was ceremony time. Katie slipped into her wedding gown while her bridesmaids anxiously awaited her reveal from the other side of the door after completing hair and makeup. As soon as Katie stepped out, gasps filled the room and the bride was showered with sweet compliments. Before heading out to ceremony, the bride and groom took a separate moment alone and read love notes they wrote to each other. The sweet words scrolled onto each paper made the bride and groom even more eager to say I do, and with that, the wedding party lined up for their walk down the aisle.

Guests arrived in the Olive Grove and took a seat under the shade of nearby trees. A floral arch filled with rust, peach and ivory flowers framed in the ceremony space and matching arrangements marked the front and back of the aisle. The processional began as each member of the wedding party made their entrance ending with Katie. Dalton’s eyes filled with tears when he saw his beautiful bride for the first time that day walking towards him. Hand in hand, in front of family and friends, the bride and groom recited vows to one another, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.

Cocktail hour kicked off with Chicken & Jalapeno Empanadas and Poloté while the bar served beer, wine, and the newlyweds signature cocktails, a Melon Margarita and Old Fashioned. While everyone mixed and mingled, wedding party, family, and newlywed photos were taken just as the sun was setting creating a pretty golden glow across the venue. The bride and groom made their rounds thanking guests, then it was time to head inside for reception.

Inside Grand Central, tables were topped with ivory linen, terracotta vases, fresh flowers, salmon-colored napkins, and clear acrylic table numbers. The sweetheart table was topped with a large bouquet of greenery and warm-toned florals and the ceremony backdrop was repurposed here. Guests found their assigned tables and took a seat to await the bride and groom. Soon after everyone was situated, Katie and Dalton made their grand entrance into their first dance. Guests cheered, clapped, oohed and aahed, and whistled through the dance, then the couple took their seats. The dinner buffet opened and was serving Cheese Enchiladas, Slow Roasted Carnitas, Refried Beans, Pasilla Rice, and Mexican Caesar Salad to hungry guests. Katie and Dalton choose the menu during their planning process with our Event Specialist, Lauren, and it was a hit with the guests. Once everyone had filled their plate, toasts followed and family and friends stood and raised glasses to the newlyweds. Just as dinner came to a close, the bride and groom cut their marble wedding cake with cream cheese filling and invited everyone to enjoy a slice before hitting the dance floor. Unforgettable memories were made while guests showed off their best moves and danced alongside the bride and groom. As the last song tapered off, everyone lined up for the newlyweds send off. From Grand Central, through the Foyer and into the Courtyard, guests cheered and blew bubbles while Katie and Dalton soaked in their last wedding moments.
