Halloween Themed CHOC Guild Con

Some of the most compassionate witches, all dedicated volunteers of the CHOC Guild, flew in on their broomsticks and gathered beneath the twinkling lights of the Grand Gimeno Olive Grove for this year’s CHOC Guild Con. The evening was filled with festive fun, heartfelt stories, and uplifting news celebrating the spirit of giving. Each Guild showcased its creativity with a Halloween-themed centerpiece, from autumn leaves and Hocus Pocus magic to Cinderella and Frankenstein. The tablescapes transformed the venue into a charmingly spooky wonderland for all to enjoy. Guests indulged in a delicious spread of wood-fired Sweet and Salty and Mediterranean Veggie Pizzas, accompanied by Ensalada Las Mesas, Old-Fashioned Cookies, Carrot Cake, Pomegranate Lemonade, tea, and water. The menu was put together with the help of our event specialist, Lauren. Once everyone was settled, the evening continued with inspiring updates from a guest speaker and uplifting remarks from Jessica, CHOC Foundation’s Senior Vice President and Chief Development Officer. Members from each Guild then took the stage to share exciting news about upcoming fundraisers and special events. As the night drew to a close, laughter filled the air, old friendships were rekindled, new ones were formed, and everyone left with hearts full of hope and anticipation for the wonderful things to come.
