Colorful Floral Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Sophia and her bridesmaids and Patrick and his groomsmen added the finishing touches to their wedding day looks inside the Grand Gimeno Powder Room and Parlor, then parted ways with the couple for their first look outside. A tap on the shoulder turned Patrick around to see his beautiful bride standing before him. Smiles, happy tears, and personal vows were shared between the two in the intimate moment. After, the bride and groom were joined by their wedding party for group photos in front of the venue. Blues and greens were worn by the bridesmaids, and the groomsmen were suited up in tan. Happy memories were shared as the photographer snapped away, then everyone lined up for the ceremony.
Guests entered the Olive Grove, signed Patrick and Sophia’s guest book, then took a seat. White pillars topped with a colorful mix of flowers were placed under the olive trees for ceremony décor. Once everyone was in attendance, the music cued up, and the wedding party made their entrances. In front of all their closest friends and loving family, the bride and groom recited their vows, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Caprese Skewers and Sticky Pork Belly Bites were tray passed while the pizza oven was turning out Wood-Fired Classic Pepperoni and Neapolitan Pizzas. Custom Salted Pandan Highball and Yuzu Blossom cocktails were served as his and hers drinks at the bar for something fun and refreshing. While everyone mixed and mingled, Sophia and Patrick posed for photos together as husband and wife around the venue. Upon their return to cocktail hour, everyone checked the seating chart and headed inside for the reception.
Tables were topped with vibrant floral centerpieces adding pops of color around the neutral room. Sophia and Patrick made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, then took a seat at their sweetheart table. BBQ Boneless Chicken, Texas Style Beef Brisket, Garlic Mashed Potatoes, Macaroni and Cheese, Warm Skillet Corn Bread, and BBQ Chopped Salad were served while family and friends shared toasts. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Emily. After dinner, the newlyweds invited everyone to indulge in our Kouign Amann Dessert Station for a little something sweet. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves and sharing their well wishes with Patrick and Sophia.
