Blush and Blue Grand Gimeno Wedding
Cassie and her bridesmaids and Michael and his groomsmen got ready inside the Powder Room and Parlor at Grand Gimeno, then lined up for the ceremony as guests began arriving at the venue. White and blush pink roses decorated the ceremony arch that stood tall under the Olive Grove trees. Once everyone had taken a seat, the music cued up and the wedding party made their entrances ending with Cassie. Happy tears filled Cassie and Michael’s eyes when they saw each other for the first time that day. Joined together at the headed of the aisle, the couple recited their vows, broke bread, exchanged rings, and sealed the ceremony with a kiss.
Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Crab Cakes made their rounds while Wood-Fired Neapolitan and Classic BBQ Chicken Pizzas were cut and served fresh. Bartenders served signature Whiskey Sour and Coconut Mai Tai cocktails at the bar and a Cheese Tray and Fruit Tray were also available to snack on. Guests mixed and mingled while the newlyweds snuck away for golden hour photos, and upon their return it was time to head inside for the reception.
Tables were topped with floral-filled bud vases, pink candles, and light blue accents. Cassie and Michael made their grand entrance and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Chicken Marsala, Cabernet Braised Short Ribs, Roasted Atlantic Salmon, Mashed Potatoes, Green Beans, and Caesar Salad were served while toasts were shared. The dinner menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Lauren. After dinner the couple shared their first dance and cut into our Cake Comb design cake that had two tiers. The top tier was white cake with strawberry creme filling, and the bottom was carrot cake with cream cheese filling. The evening ended with everyone out on the dance floor showing off their best moves, and a celebratory send off for the bride and groom.
