Black, Mauve, and Modern Wedding at Grand Gimeno

Joanne and her bridal party and Loren and his groomsmen got ready at Grand Gimeno on the morning of their wedding. Once suited up and dress on, the bride and groom met in the olive grove for their first touch and personal vows. Standing back-to-back Loren and Joanne read from their vow books drawing laughter and tears, then with their wedding party, they headed to their church for ceremony.

Loved ones watched as the bride and groom recited vows and sealed the ceremony with a kiss. The newlyweds and their wedding party hopped into a party bus and headed back to Grand Gimeno where they would rejoin everyone for cocktail hour. Upon their return, the bar was serving up Old Fashioned and Georgia Peach signature drinks and servers were tray passing Filet and Wild Mushroom Wellingtons and Sticky Pork Belly Bites. Our favored Poke Station was also available as an additional treat. Guests entered the olive grove, signed the newlywed’s guest book, and mixed and mingled. Flowers decorated the fireplace and a modern lounge setup added a comfortable place to sit. Joanne and Loren joined their guests for the cocktail hour celebration, and when the sun began to set, they invited everyone inside for dinner.

Tables were topped with smoky glassware, black and gold details, and fresh floral centerpieces.  Joanne and Loren made their grand entrance, shared their first dance, and took a seat at their sweetheart table. Honey Ginger Glazed Salmon and Vietnamese Braised Short Ribs with Pineapple Fried Rice, Chow Mein, and Spicy Szechuan Green Beans was served while family and friends shared toasts. The menu was selected by the bride and groom with help from our event specialist, Casey. After dinner, the newlyweds cut into their wedding cake and invited everyone to indulge in our Kouign Amann Station and Classic Dessert Station with a collection of Raspberry Chocolate Decadence Cakes, Fresh Fruit Tarts, Vanilla Bean Chocolate Eclairs, Mango and Passion Fruit Macarons, and French Apple Tarts. While snacking on something sweet, Loren put on a show for Joanne and their guests. He and his groomsmen performed a choreographed dance and the crowd cheered in excitement. The end of the dance got everyone out of their chairs and out on the dance floor. The remainder of the evening was filled with late night Braised Pork Belly Bao and Vietnamese Short Rib Bao snacks and tons of dancing.
