Grand Gimeno is located in the heart of Old Towne Orange surrounded the city’s three historical districts, antique shops and restaurants. Named after the building’s original architect, Harold Gimeno, Grand Gimeno boasts authentic Spanish Colonial Revival design and an interior that has been reimagined with influence from the structure’s past while incorporating modern-day, custom details. Spanning across 30,000 square feet and able to accommodate up to 300 guests, this romantic wedding and event venue combines one-of-a-kind al fresco dining features with swoon-worthy architecture.
Large stucco arches greet you inside Grand Gimeno’s front courtyard where you’ll find a bubbling fountain and lush landscape. Through the courtyard’s breezeway, French doors open into the charming foyer where an ornate wrought iron chandelier hangs overhead. To your right and left are two intimate spaces each equipped with tiled fireplaces. Use these two pre-function rooms however you’d like; dinner, cocktail hour, etc. Two fully furnished, private VIP suites on each end of the pre-function rooms continue the venue’s Spanish Colonial Revival design. Get ready here for your special occasion with custom key codes that allow you access to these spaces earlier in the day. A large main event space with 30-foot ceilings houses massive windows allowing natural light to pour into the venue creating an illuminating glow. Grand Gimeno’s expansive back patio features something extra special and unique to the venue: A custom wood-fired pizza oven and live fire cooking station to flawlessly execute their traditional Argentine asado experience. Al fresco dining has never been more exciting! Old world olive trees are scattered around the back patio ensuring privacy for your event.
